Lutheran Youth of WNY: Presented by Nick Stroczkowski – They are in process of developing a youth ministry model which is a lot more applicable to youth. Nick is working on the “WNY Church Unleashed” program, filming and conduction the youth portion of the service. They are told that there are 7-9,000 people tuning in on Sunday’s. They are holding a game night, the 1st Wednesday of the month with a different congregation each month. Nick is hoping to get together withal youth in the summer. They did a (4) week series with USNYS on “What Churches need for youth ministry and what works” – the bottom line is that youth ministry can happen in any size church as long as youth come together to study, listen and practice the Gospel. People way to feel cared for so Nick is holding the (4) week series again in the spring and maybe also in the summer. Nick & Abby are doing Meals on Wheels as an outreach project and a way to stay connected with youth and reach out to people who need food.

LCLC: Lee Lindeman – Cabins now have bathrooms so that they are available for “Family Camping”. “Camp Families” didn’t have access to camp equipment due to limited staff. LCLC is staying in touch with “Camp Families” especially during the summer. Groups of no more than (10) are utilizing the Dining Hall. They hope to be back to normal in the spring. Summer camp will probably require vaccines. They are still planning for summer camp with a limited staff on site Staff is smaller than normal and they are using virtual programing to stay in touch. They can hire & retain staff because the donors came through very well, especially St. John’s, who is their biggest donor. Currently they see a different type of ministry happening and are looking forward to 2022.
